Maize

A healthy source of starch, maize is widely known as 'corn' as well. Like rice and wheat, maize is also a staple food in many countries. The seeds are contained within a leafy stalk. It is rich in carbohydrates, iron, and in some countries corn oil is used as antioxidants as well. A maize meal is rich in nutrition and is wholesome as well.
